Connection is key.

In today’s fast-paced world in which digital connection is at the forefront, our children and youth are less socially connected than ever. When considering the ever increasing social, academic, and technological pressures on children, it’s no wonder that rates of anxiety and low mood have been steadily climbing, especially for those with developing and/or neurodivergent brains. In working closely with children, teens, and their parents, I can help youth to discover the familial, social, and internal connections that will lead to greater confidence and emotion regulation, help them to overcome obstacles, and find wellness.

My primary goal is to guide and empower youth in learning practical, hands-on strategies that will help them to overcome their mental health struggles and allow their world to open up to them once again.

Empowering Parents

Close collaboration with parents and caregivers is crucial to help you support the positive changes your children and teens are making, not just during therapy but long-term. Mental health is a true team effort – let’s work together!

All are Welcome

Whatever the age, ethnic background, sexual orientation, gender identity, family structure, neurodiversity, etc., all youth are deserving of the support, understanding, and a greater sense of well-being that can come from working within a judgement-free environment.

Hi, I'm Dr. Erin.

For over 13 years as a Registered Clinical Psychologist in Alberta (and prior to that while obtaining my Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Concordia University in Montreal and completing my Predoctoral Residency at the Alberta Children’s Hospital here in Calgary), I have had the honour and privilege of working with children, teens, and families for whom severe mood and anxiety disorders have been part of their stories.

I am especially passionate about discovering the strengths of neurodivergent youth and supporting them with their struggles through both assessment and treatment. I approach the children and families with whom I work with a respectful, compassionate, non-judgmental, and optimistic stance that helps them to create and move towards the future that they are seeking.
